Annie offers a modern bespoke service for wedding and studio portraits using designer mouldings and creative fillet mount designs.
Creative box frames for fabric art, sports memorabilia, collectors items, baby shoes, dried flowers, ceramics etc are all individually handcrafted and can include commemorative engraved plaques for a special gift.
Canvas stretching available for all sizes - either for further framing or as a gallery wrap style where part of the artwork is visible around the sides and ready to hang unframed.
Specialist drymounting techniques are used for delicate work including some high gloss photographic paper such as for "Waterbaby" photographs. Annie has undertaken a number of remounting and reframing projects from old wedding and portrait photographs to antique maps and historical documents. Great care is taken to protect the artwork for the long term future utilising conservation framing techniques, while paying attention to the historical integrity of the design.
Annie has undertaken framing projects for artwork hanging in public places. Lightweight frames with acrylic glass and security fixings are used where health and safety issues are important. Annie has recently framed an award winning 5ft square artwork for a local primary school due to be displayed in the local Civic Centre.
